Cool: Just do not hesistate to fully open the box of delicious candies AmiBroker, as other trading frameworks do either, can provide data, but it is a compact ( ~ 3.5 MB .EXE + .DLL s), performance optimised executable that does not, unlike Java or .NET programs, require any internal VM to interpret the user-processes on a byte-code level, but runs on a full steam on machine-code level. Yeah, you can, but they usually suck... especially compared to AmiBroker, in my opinion.

Here's a snippet from the C# code I used to automate Amibroker (from when I went down that path). You'll need to reference System.Runtime.Interopservices System.Type objType = System.Type.GetTypeFromProgID("Broker.Application"); dynamic comObject = System.Activator.CreateInstance(objType); comObject.Import(0, fileName, "default.format"); comObject.RefreshAll(); Typing a dot won't bring up the comObject internal methods, though.
